Thursday May 3, 2007

Today, as I arrived Richard was just getting back from lunch. We were working on a van. It was a Windstar and the complaint was that the ABS was not always working. We did a road test which did not provide us with any conclusive results. We had to resort to a new technology which I have not used before at Oak-Land. We used a computer to clear the codes on the vehicle. The codes told us that the wheel speed sensors were failing, but after a road test and other computer simulations, this proved false. We checked all the terminals on the module for breaks, but this was not the source of the problem. This is the only job we worked on all day and by the time I was leaving, we had still not found a solution to the problem.
